Challenge Brief
Our warehouse team tracks point-of-sale terminals and accessories across several storage sites. Stock counts live in spreadsheets that are updated at the end of each shift, so by the time a shortage shows up, a merchant order may already be delayed.
We want a live dashboard that shows what is in stock, where it is and how quickly it is moving. Supervisors should be able to spot a shortage on a phone while walking the floor, and managers should be able to compare sites over any date range.
The team will work with sample data that mirrors our real structure, and will meet our operations lead every two weeks. Reliability matters more than visual polish: warehouse connections drop often, so the dashboard has to behave sensibly when offline.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of React and TypeScript
- Some experience with SQL databases
- At least one team member comfortable with data visualisation
- Able to attend a fortnightly review, in Lagos or online
Deliverables
- A working dashboard with live stock levels by site
- Low-stock alerts with adjustable thresholds
- Date-range reports that can be exported to CSV
- Source code and a short handover guide
